Heron Pond Farm is a year-round farm and store in South Hampton NH that grows over 200 varieties of vegetables and fruits. We’re open daily from May-December and then move to a Wednesday-Sunday schedule in the winter months. We operate a robust 40-week CSA program with pick ups at our store in South Hampton and at our offsite locations in Dover and Portsmouth. If you’re not familiar with the concept of CSA, it stands for Community Supported Agriculture, and can be seen as an investment in your family’s health through fresh veggies and fruits all year long! Perhaps you’ve also seen us at local farmers markets in Portsmouth, Rollinsford, and Newburyport.

This summer we’re hosting fun, educational programming for the whole family! We’re bringing back our beloved STEM Storytime hosted by local librarian Clare, with monthly sessions starting on Wednesday June 25th. For the first time we’ll have a nature & mindfulness family session on Saturday June 21st, hosted by local nature educator and CSA member Kaitlin. Stay tuned for registration info! The children’s garden will soon be planted with veggies, flowers, and herbs that you can watch grow this summer. Seeing, touching, smelling and tasting is encouraged, but remember this is for all friends of the farm, so please don’t take more than your fair share. Enjoy reading a storywalk as you explore the garden and learn about how your food grows!
