Five Things to Do in the Seacoast This Week

The fall chill is in the air, and the Seacoast has plenty of fall things to do this weekend. From fairs to festivals and end of summer gatherings, there is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy. Here are Macaroni KID Seacoast's picks for five things to do this week. 

1. Hampton Beach Seafood Festival






The Hampton Beach Seafood Festival is back for its 35th year! This family-friendly event is full of local vendors, artisans and music. There will alos be a special fireworks show Saturday night. (Sept 6th, 12 pm - 9 pm, Sept 7th, 10 am - 9 pm & Sept 8th, 9 am - 6 pm)


2. Harvest Festival






Applecrest Farm is at it again with another fun, fall festival. Enjoy apple picking, tractor rides, live music, cider donuts and more. (Sept 7th - 8th, 10 am - 5 pm)


3. Portsmouth Community Picnic






For Portsmouth residents, come by Prescott Park to celebrate the end of summer with a community event sponsored by Prescott Park Arts Festival and Portsmouth Recreation. (Sept 8th, 11 am - 2 pm)


4. NHSPCA Adoption Event



The NHSPCA will be at the Mall at Fox Run hosting an adoption event to help animals find their forever homes. (Sept 11th, 12 pm - 3 pm)


5. The Granite State Fair






It's opening day for the annual fair in Rochester. See livestock, a Circus Hollywood show, exhibits, rides and more. (Sept 12th, 4 pm - 10 pm)
