Five Things to Do in the Seacoast This Week

From trucks to teddy bears, movies and sunflowers, there's so much family fun happening in the Seacoast. Here are Macaroni KID Seacoast's picks for five things to do this week.

1. Teddy Bear Clinic






Visit the Children's Museum of NH in Dover for this fun, interactive event where kids can learn about what happens at the doctor's office, with their favorite stuffy as the patient. (Aug 2, 9 am - 11 am)


2. Touch-a-Truck






Portsmouth police, fire and public works come together for this community event hosted by Portsmouth Public Library. (Aug 2, 10:30 am)


3. Newmarket’s Backyard Bash






This 3rd annual event in Newmarket hosted by Newmarket Recreation and other Newmarket businesses is happening this Friday. Cool off in the splash pad, grab some dinner at a local food truck, enjoy live music and more. (Aug 2, 5 pm - 10 pm)


4. Sunflower Festival



The annual Sunflower Festival at Coppal House Farm in Lee takes place over nine days with activities for both adults and children, including a craft fair over the weekend. (Aug 2 - 4, 10 am - 6 pm)


5. Kids Summer Series






Movie tickets at O'Neil Cinemas in Epping are only $3 for kids this summer on Mondays and Wednesdays, with morning and evening showtimes. (Aug 5 & 7, 10 am & 7 pm)
