Children's Museum of New Hampshire
6 Washington St
Dover, New Hampshire 03820

Children's Museum of New Hampshire is one of my family's favorite places to visit in the Seacoast. With a vast list of exhibits, classes and camps, there is something for everyone here. Although the museum asks that you leave strollers at home or in the coat room, there are ramps and elevators for those who need handicapped accessibility. The parking lot also has handicapped spaces.

Great Bay Discovery Center
89 Depot Road
Greenland, NH 03840

In Greenland you can find the Great Bay Discovery Center as part of the Great Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve. Outside the center is a trail and boardwalk that is stroller and wheelchair accessible. Here you can explore the marshes, wetlands and forests, and there is a play area near the parking lot. Service dogs are also permitted.

Peverly Pond Loop
3 Arboretum Dr
Newington,NH 03801

There are many trails at Great Bay National Wildlife Refuge in Newington, and the Peverly Pond Loop is perfect for wheelchair and stroller access. With a boardwalk, the trail is considered easy for those with small kids or accessibility needs.

Seacoast Science Center
570 Ocean Boulevard
Rye, NH 03870

The Seacoast Science Center in Rye is another favorite our ours. The center is wheelchair and stroller accessible inside. Outside is paved, and there is access to Odiorne Point State Park nearby. There is also one wheelchair that can be loaned if needed from the center and service dogs are allowed.

Strawbery Banke Museum
14 Hancock Street
Portsmouth NH 03801

Strawbery Banke Museum in Portsmouth has made a commitment to making the museum grounds inclusive and accessible to all. There are handicapped accessible parking spots, as well as two for wheelchair vans. In the museum are handicapped accessible restrooms and transfer chairs available upon request.

It's so great to see Seacoast attractions that embrace inclusivity by providing a wide range of wheelchair-friendly and stroller-friendly attractions and activities. This commitment to accessibility ensures that individuals of all abilities can explore and enjoy the Seacoast's cultural, natural, and recreational offerings.
