Seacoast eateries with outdoor seating

The Seacoast is lucky to have a variety of restaurants and cafes that provide charming patio spaces where we can savor our favorite meals outdoors. Here are three of my family's favorite Seacoast restaurants with outdoor seating:

The Seacoast's best picnic spots

Grab and Go to the Park! National Eat Outside Day is the perfect excuse to pack up a picnic and head to the nearest park in the Seacoast for an outdoor feast!

Three of the best spots for a picnic in the Seacoast? My family loves:

Four Tree Island, located off a causeway from Pierce Island, is part of Prescott Park. There are picnic tables and grills for all to use, as well as pavilion areas that require a reservation. Don't forget the carry in/carry out policy for all trash!

There is nothing better than a picnic on the beach! Whether you are taking a full beach day with coolers and snacks, or grabbing some pizza to hang for a few hours before dusk, the beach is the perfect place for a picnic. The carry on/carry out policy also applies here.

Odiorne Point is a beautiful spot for a picnic! Located with views of the ocean, there are several picnic tables available for use, as well as pavilions that can be reserved for a fee.

Take it to the backyard

Rather eat at home? Order takeout and take that picnic right outside on your front stoop, or back lawn! For an at-home outdoor dining feast, my family typically orders takeout from Seabrook's Tripoli's Pizza & Bakery and The Hen House Sports Bar & Grille in Newton.

If time is tight? A simple PBJ on the porch will do the trick just fine!

No matter how you do it, celebrate National Eat Outside Day this year! If you take part, make sure to tag Macaroni KID Seacoast in social media posts so we can see how you celebrated in Seacoast, NH!

Bon appétit!
