Five Things to Do in the Seacoast This Weekend

Fairies & gnomes, food trucks, Children's Day and more!

The forecast looks beautiful this weekend in the Seacoast, perfect for these outdoor (or mostly outdoor) activities and events. Here are Macaroni KID Seacoast's five picks for things to do this weekend!


1.  Fairy & Gnome Day at Children's Museum of New Hampshire




The play patio is open at the Children's Museum of NH in Dover, and the kids can help build a fairy house village! Inside the museum will be crafts, scavenger hunts, a puppet show, dance performance and more. Sat May 6th 9 am - 12 pm or 1 pm - 4 pm


2. Great Bay Food Truck Festival



Delicious food trucks, live music, fun lawn games and more! The Great Bay Food Truck Festival in Stratham is a great event for the whole family. Sat May 6th 12 pm - 4 pm


3. Children's Forest and Plant Walk



Join Misty Meadows Herbal Center in Lee for a nature walk to learn about the plants along the way and how we can help protect our environment. Sun May 7th 10 am - 11:30 am 


4. Children’s Day



Children's Day takes place in Portsmouth's Market Square. There is a whole afternoon filled with family entertainment and activities. Sun May 7th 12 pm - 4 pm 


5. Dover Spring Fling 



Spring is officially here in downtown Dover! Spring Fling will include special events at local retail shops, bubble and chalk stations, face painting, temporary tattoos, raffles and more. Sat May 6th & Sun May 7th 8 am - 7 pm
